Madison (Madi) Harp

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-1311)

I offer teleheath services at Northern Star Counseling as I am dually licensed in Wyoming and Oregon. I was born and raised in Evanston, WY. I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Social Work and with a Minor in Disability Studies. I then went on to complete a Master's of Social Work degree and graduated in 2019. I am currently a Provisional Clinical Social Worker. While in school, I worked with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities at Ark Regional Services and vocational services for youth with disabilities at Career Innovations. At a Master's level, I was an intern at a therapeutic preschool for early childhood mental health services in Cheyenne, WY.

Although a young professional, I am passionate about social work and providing mental health services. I believe the strongest part of the therapeutic experience is a positive relationship between myself and the client. I use a Strengths-Based approach and always uphold the NASW Code of Ethics in personal and professional life.
