Michelle Gonyo
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW- 1562)
Promise: I will provide a safe and supportive environment for our work together by taking an empathetic and holistic approach.
Michelle is an Independent Contractor providing clinical services for Northern Star Counseling.
I offer telehealth services at Northern Star Counseling. I am dually licensed in Virginia and Wyoming! I have worked in a variety of settings, including educational, nonprofit, community outreach, and long-term care. My approach is eclectic, pulling from experience with cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and narrative therapies, to name a few. In collaboration we can work to identify your strengths and reach identified goals, tailored specifically to your personal values and priorities. I have traveled and lived in various places throughout the United States and overseas. I embrace adventure, but also understand the challenges that accompany change. New experiences can be uncomfortable and overwhelming at times, but also exciting and full of hope for the future. This process provides an opportunity to learn new things and for growth. I look forward to supporting you as we navigate this journey together. You’re never too young or too old to make positive and lasting change.
