Tiernan is an Independent Contractor providing clinical services for Northern Star Counseling.

Tiernan has been a consultant and trainer for parents of young children and the professionals who support these families in Wyoming for over 20 years. He has a wealth of experience in assessing, understanding, and responding to challenging behaviors, which ultimately starts with caring for and managing ourselves as caregivers. Helping parents and professionals understand and support young children has long been a passion for Tiernan. He approaches each family, provider, and situation with curiosity and compassion, often using a narrative approach that focuses attention on the problem as the problem, rather than identifying a person or persons as problematic.
