Goal Setting

 
 

Goal setting is a valuable tool to keeping you on track as you move toward your personal and professional milestones. While planning, be sure to keep goals specific, measurable and obtainable. Acknowledge the barriers that may present challenges for you and preplan how to overcome them as they arise. Breaking the larger, long term goal, into smaller pieces will allow you to feel the process you are making and help to keep you motivated. Write down your goals as a reminder of where you are headed and the steps you need to get there.
