Eat Well.
There is increasing data that shows a strong connection between your gut and your brain. The gastrointestinal (GI) track and the brain share a pipeline of communication in your body. If you experience intestinal distress, there can be an increase in symptoms of anxiety, depression and other mood symptoms or visa versa. Eating well is a healthy lifestyle habit that creates a desirable GI gut environment that can decrease inflammation and ease digestion. Eating well is typically defined as eating fibrous, nutrient and mineral rich unprocessed foods that you do not have a food sensitivity to. Some people also chose to take prebiotics and/or probiotics to improve and regulate their gut health. Eating well offers a healthy gut microbiome that may also improve mental health naturally.
