Seasonal Self Care

Autumn is fast approaching and it is time to consider what the changing season offers to your self care routine. Many activities that we enjoy are not available for all 12 months of the year (especially true for those of us living in Wyoming) so we must capitalize on them when we can. Be mindful about what you enjoy about the fall season and consciously incorporate those self care activities into your routine or as a planned event.

Here are some autumn self care activities to get your creative juices flowing

  • Seek out farmer’s markets

  • Pick your own pumpkin in a patch

  • Plan your pumpkin craving

  • Get creative with halloween and fall home decorations

  • Enjoy seasonal teas, spiced cider and warm drinks

  • Curl up with a warm blanket and a good book

  • Drive through the mountains and watch the leaves change color

  • Wear your favorite warm socks

  • Take a nature walk

  • Try a new hobby like crochet or lettering

  • Create a cozy atmosphere in your home using soft lighting, cozy fabrics and comforting scents

  • Find a new favorite candle
